Any one remember the not so mighty Gemini (the dodgy tqins not the Eurovision hopefuls). While they were an odious pair of twins (hence the name) their songs were top.
EVen though you broke my heart pulled at my heart strings and their discotastic follow-up STeal Your Love Away is pop genius of the highest order.
Optymistic were fab too. Well for two songs. Caught Up In Your Herat and the fantastic Best Thing In The World. Had the (mis)fortune to find their US-releaseed album in a charity shop recently. It was lousy. But that's Ian Levine for ya!

I have vague recollections of seeing Gemini's arses in some magazine.
I enjoyed that.

Just received their albums today from the (not so) great Ian Levine himself. They are, as you'd expect, a load of old pants. Singles aside, the other 'tunes' all have that awful faux 60s sound Levine used on I Found heaven. horrific! he has a new act on his way. Jamie Pearce. Supported Liberty X on tour. www.jamiepearce.co.uk to see how dodgy he really is. He looks 50.

He's absolutely awful! I've seen him twice, once when he was supporting Blue just before Christmas, and I saw him at the Liberty X tour as well. What a sanctomonious little prick he is. Awful song and is a complete minger. And to top it all off, that stupid song he's releasing is coming out on my 20th birthday on the 14th of April! Oh the shame!!!!!!!

how did you get in touch with ian levine? i want a gemini album! actually, i want a girl thing album, but i don't know who managed/produced them, so gemini will have to do.
listening to jamie pearce's tabloid queen now. my ears are offended by it. rubbish song. and such a grand subject, too, ruined by such shite lyrics. "it's the look that she wears". oh, fuck off!
he looks like nick carter. [insert cutting remark here]
cheerio!

I thought Jamie Pearce was a joke at Liberty X! I was telling me mate to look out for hidden cameras as I thought it was a wind up! He was sooooooooooooooooooooo bad!
The cheese of him sat on a bench in a park filmed with a video camera as a back drop, he looked about 30, his songs were shite and the dancers kept forgetting the dance routine

What did you think about LIberty X? I thought they were okay, but the stage show wasn't particularly spectacular. Tickets were 2-4-1 though, so can't complain...

I thought Liberty X were very average.
The show was lacklustre, the choregraphy lazy and the songs very so-so!
Very diaappointing.
They have good singles but they have zero personality. Unfortunately.

I enjoyed Liberty X! The vocals were fantastic they could have just done with a bit more stage presence, a bit of dancing etc. Looking around the audience though, most people looked bored so I assume they didn't have the album as they weren't singing along -I was just thinking why the hell did they come - What did they expect them to sing?
The arena tour will be a lot better I think
