well obscure in the UK anyway. Am I the only one that watched E Street? I know someone mentioned it on the PJ board in reference to Bruce Tamazepan the other day. I've seen Wheels in a few US programmes over the years, after it I finally remembered who the heck he was.

I watched it when I had sky. I dont remember that much about it though. I watched just about every soap when I was younger, I even loved Eldorado and Sunset Beach.
I would have SO been into Night and Day and Crossroads. Now I only watch Neighbours, Coronation Street and Eastenders. And Home and Away for the 2 weeks that Blake was back.

I never got around to watching Blake's comeback on Home and Away, even though I was obsessed with him for several years, and used to buy Big! magazine for posters of him with his shirt off. What was I thinking?

It's okay, I remember being in a near hysterical state when I met Tug from Home & Away when I was about 11. He was a panto - just sitting in the audience like a normal person!
Do they still make Shortland Street? That show has haunted me for years; it seems to be the only thing on when I'm watching ITV during the day. Not even Des & Mel is sacred anymore.

ahhhhh shortland street!!!, it reminds of days off school sick slumped on a sofa with a big duvet. I never liked it but it was the only thing on, the theme tune still rings into my head now and again. 'Is it you or is it me? la la la la la'
My fav aussie soap will always be 'prisoner cell block h' the woman on that were so cruel!

The show the Minogues were on while infants was on Channel 4 at one point, watched that for early Kylie acting. Anyone know a good source for old plots of Home and Away? I really want to know what happened when and who was who, that reunion thing brought a whole load of half memories to the surface.

E Street was immensely tops as. Bruce Samazan was a werewolf in someones dreams, there was a mute DJ who started talking one day for no reason (as the Goddess Toni Pearen pointed out once he started speaking you realised why they kept him mute), a serial killer painted 1/2 white, 1/2 black and a shoplifter who was arrested and NEVER SEEN AGAIN...
Not as good as Chances... Alyson

The show the Minogues were on while infants was on Channel 4 at one point, watched that for early Kylie acting. Was that the Henderson Kids where Kylie was the junior hairdresser who turned that woman's hair green?? Or is there something older than that?

There was a tribute to Aussie soaps on a few months ago here, and my goddess Toni Pearen basically said they knew they were getting axed, and so the writers just wrote the stupidest things they could just because they could!
The serial killer was immense! 1/2 black, 1/2 white! And Chances ruled, "the steamiest soap EVER!"
Did you guys get Paradise Beach?

I think we did at some point, but I don't think I ever saw it. This may be the thing that Lowculture was trying to think of while I was talking to him the other night. We shall have to wait and see when he comes back.

Paradise Beach was wonderful! Lesbians, crazed DJs, gay guys marrying gay girls to stay in the country...basically there were 300 things going on in each episode...
Such a difference to sleepy old A Country Practice!
