Cheryl Tweedy's defence excuse number 34. Soon to be released as a box set.
She skinned the guy that shot Tara. Nothing irrational there.
What sacrifice ourselves to save the world? Actually if I'd have known then what I know now I would've launched Dawn into the portal before she could whinge.
Stab it through the chest with a pointy stick.
Yes I hated it when Willow wore those too, though not enough to write an essay on it.
Yes a lot of teenage boys have done that.

Where can I get this book? It'd be perfect for reading on a long train journey to Edinburgh, such as the one I'll be undertaking this time next week.

thanks nj!
the ones i've read are:
Fighting the forces: What's at stake in Buffy the Vampire Slayer? by Rhonda V. Wilcox and David Lavery (eds). 2002, Rowman and Littlefield: USA
and
Reading the Vampire Slayer by Roz Kaveney (ed). 2001, Tauris Parke: London.
the first one's more academic, the second is much lighter.

Just ordered myself a copy from Amazon. Hope it arrives in time! I hope so too, I look forward to pretentious Buffy posts from Panda Punk and...me (why dont I have a P name?) *is serious about this* we could take it in turns to choose a possible thing to research and then all post evidence from various episodes.

new here but thought I'd chime in about the greatness of these books. I actually went to the Buffy academic conference held at my uni where the authors of the books gave lectures, all very interesting. There's a book planned to come out of it edited by my film lecturer, so look out for that one too.

well the conference was called Blood, Text and Fears so I guess the book will be along those lines. It's worth checking out www.slayage.tv for all that kind of stuff.

No Dawn!!! Bollox to that then Oh, but the main reason I wanted it was to ignore all missions where I had to save her.
