Perry White will be in it! Yay! No clue as to the casting of the role yet.
Aparently he'll just be the head of the local Smallville paper, not the Daily Planet yet. And he looks like being there throughout the season. I know Clark has a looong way to go before he ends up in the DP but surely Perry had been working there for about 15 years?
*shrugs*
I know that Chloe is Louis Lane's cousin, and that's how Clark and Louis first meet, but that probably wont start until they're in college, I forget how old they are in the show right now. I hope it's graduation this year.
Just so you know, for tension reasons, Pete is expendable (and as the actor seems to have little to do i'd expect to see him die this year) but I think Chloe is important enough with the Louis thing to make it to the college years (especially if she's going to play a part in Lionel's plans and therefore Lex's slide to the dark side)
I really hope we see evil evil things from Lionel this year, like "Accelerate" last year with the clone girl.

Maybe Chloe's expendable too, and Lois and Clark meet at her funeral. I doubt it. I don't know of many good pick up lines to use at a funeral (do you come here often??), but there's a chance. I can't believe after wanting Lana for so long, Clark left her. What a moron.

You do realise that Lana is the whiniest, most deplorably horrible girl in history dont you? She's worse than Joey in Dawson's Creek!
I mean look at the guys she likes. Whitney. Clark. Both kindah doting and emotionaly closed. Both Protective Strong Men. She doesnt even love them, she just wants to feel a strong fatherly presence.
Silly girl.

ALSO
They want to introduce a young Bruce Wayne (a.k.a Batman) into it. Not for any stretch of time, perhaps a lovely one-off episode, it'd be cool to see both Clark and Bruce accidently find out each other's secret whilst fighting crime (like the end of the Buffy episode Hush with Buffy & Riley)
And if this does happen expect sparkitude as they dont really get on (as is well documented)

I agree (although nobody is as bad as Joey Potter!!), but Clark loved her for so long, and when he finally got her, he buggered off.
I think he'd be better off with Chloe.
Maybe Bruce Wayne would be known by Lex. Both wealthy, young, powerful men. I think that's how Clark could meet Bruce.
Are they gonna throw Wonder Woman and the Green Lantern in too?

"1 0wNz j00" I dont think there's much chance of any Justice Leaguers coming into it, but maybe a passing mention, perhaps their real name as a nod to the fans. But no super heros are "out" yet in Smallville time.

Excuse me I only didnt mention it because I figured you for a DCer I'm all about the Marvel! To be honest, I wouldn't consider myself either. I pick up a lot of knowledge about both, but I've never read a comic.

A lot of it (on the Superman side of things) is also due to the fact that Kristin Kreuk is really hot!
How very shallow of me ;D
