Chandler isn't a very appealing character, being fat and annoying. No, Chandler is great for those reasons!! He should not have given up smoking though.

The best spin-off would be a Rachel one - maybe something with her sisters. ... The thing is though, it would have to be either Joey or Pheebs because the other characters have too many emotional ties. Rachel of course has Emma, therefore Ross. Ross has Emma and Monica and Ben. Monica and Chandler have each other so it would have to be Joey anyway.

Hmm, yeah, see your point. They'll probably send him to LA or something, after Rachel chooses Ross.

I'm warming to the idea. They could play him off against Hollywood airheads, and he could be the smart New York guy. In a sort of ironic way... and then Matthew Perry could guest star, and it would be all 'You think Joey's a smart guy. Hello? Could you be anymore LA and flakey?'

The Chandler and Monica stuff was boring. Courtney Cox can't act, and never could. erm what! courntey cox can't act? i think you're forgetting ace ventura: pet detective and the scream movies! lol oh ok she's not great but monica is my favourite character because she reminds me of me. i have always hated joey - he's just boring and the only jokes about him are that he's stupid, can't act and sleeps around. hilarious! how are they going to stretch that into a sitcom on its own? he doesn't have any neuroses, or quirks or real depth. after ross he was my least favourite character

Why does everyone think "Joey" is hot?
He's very ugly.

True.
But if, God forbid, I had to make a choice out of Matyt le Blank, David Schwimmer and Matt Perry, I think I know who I'd got for. Best of a bad bunch.

I really want a sitcom about Rachel and her sisters now. Even though it'll never happen. Bah.
A pox on whoever suggested it!

I don't have a problem with Matt Perry, when he's balancing the precarious tightrope between hugeness and emaciatedness. I liked him on Parkinson. Also, much to my surprise, I noticed the other day that I do actually quite fancy Courtney Cox. Though it may just be the biceps; I'm not sure. Maybe Chandler could wake-up to his true sexuality, and they could be the new (far, far more likeable) Will & Grace? Who shag occasionally.
