Oh dear, I remember that too!
"Hello, this is Declan. We're gonna find out a few things about Ant, cos I'm gonna ask him. Hello Ant." "Hello Declan." "Tell us about yourself." "My name is Anthony David McPartlin, I am 18 years of age..."
And so it went on.

Guff! Surprised it didn't get them dropped. Luckily it didn't and we got to get far far superior, "Let's Get Ready To Rumble" and "Our Radio Rocks."

I so used to know those interviews off by heart too... glad to know there were some people as sad as me circa 1994... I loved the way they dissolved into giggles every two seconds, and blatantly thought that the interview thing was completely stupid. Ah, great days.

I rather liked the interview on CD2 of If I Give You My Number, where Dec was the hairdresser and kept asking Ant if he'd been anywhere nice on his holidays recently, culminating in Ant telling Dec that he hated him and flouncing off.

"My name is Anthony David McPartlin, . ...I believe it was at this point that Ant actually forgot his own middle name, setting the tone for the remainder of the interview. They were great! They should do a charity single for Children In Need or something - I'd buy a zillion copies.
