Britney's most defining and iconic moment was certainly with this song, everything else she's released just hasn't even begun to compare with this. Despite the fact that she was only in her school uniform for one third of the video, it's still the image that most people will conjure up when they think of Britney.
It's a work of genius, a fact proven when not even Travis could destroy the song, despite them ripping the heart out of it and turning it into a dirge.
Go Britters.

I was the first person at my school to know of Britney... and how they laughed
"Oh she'll be forgotten soon..."
Oh yeah? OH YEAH?

I'm here!! *waves frantically* Unfortunately my current temp job actually involves doing some work for a change which is why my number of posts have declined - on the upside, my number of pounds per hour has increased ;D But anyway, I wish I had this single, I'm sure it'll be worth a pretty penny in a few years time, or maybe even 75pence. Long Live Britney "i'd spear her" Spears! On a different note, I can't belive how brunette she is in the picture! what with all the blondification that seems to be going on (Look at Rachel S Club for further prrof!)

i tried to think what image comes into my head when i think of spears. it's prolly school uniform, but also a big yellow snake. but that's just me.
BOMT is not my favourite but unarguably a classic.

Thsi was pretty much the song that secured me to the pop wagon. I was only about 10 or 11 when it came out but i absolutely loved it. Every break time me, my twin siter and our mate laura would go over to the field and start singing it to all the shoppers walking past. Good memories I also remember the b side, autumn goodbye. it was well cheesy but at the time i thought it was fabuloso and knew all the words to it off by heart

Much as I'm sure it will shock and delight all of you, I was working very hard today. Didn't leave the office till 7:30pm.
Oh, Britney? Ace, nothing more to be said.

Poor old Panda - you must have been this cat then: BOMT is Britter's original and best. I couldn't stop watching it on the Box when it came out. Nothing has ever really topped it - 'Ooops...' came close.

Ah, but 'Oops!...I Did It Again' has the honour of being Best Song With The Word Oops! In The Title, narrowly beating 'Oops Upside Your Head'.

Best song with the word 'Ooops' in the title maybe, but still not quite Britter's best. Liked the uber-naff Titanic spoken word bit though. (I would like to the disclaimer that I hate spoken word and spoken word artists in general - except the one who told me that the mighty Jane County once lived up the road from me.)

One of the greatest songs ever written. An absolute classic.
Now get out there and top it Britney!

I think Ulrikakakaka's version of baby one more time is better than the original.
