I don't think any of my friends would want to come to a PJ party! They're all either totally clever and posh and would just want to go home, or have homophobic tendencies which I choose to ignore. Jessica

I'd like to come, but don't you think it's be a bit weird? I don't know about everyone else, but I think I'd be quite shy and probably a bit of a let down. After a few drinks though Don't think my friends would come either. It sounds a bit weird saying it's a party with people from a messageboard...

Tell your folks that you're going to a party with the nice 22 year old boy you met on the internet, who tells you you can marry Will Young as long as he's allowed to shag him senseless at weekends. What's not to approve of?

I'd love to go to a PJ party, but as it would presumably be in London, that could cause awkwardness, so I may not be able to attend.
*Listens desperately to the silence in case there's any sobs. All there is is a muffled cheer before a chorus of Shush's drown out the speaker*

After a few drinks though Yeah, think that the "after a few drinks though" will apply to many - so I propose we all have to turn up after said few drinks. Certainly I'd need a few gins to get me loose, as, er, I always say. Or we could all have a few drinks together in silence, and then start talking. Or something.... Hmm, sorry, as a reasonably recent joiner to the board I shall keep my ideas under my hat for the moment. x

And all us london folk could house all non-london folk! It'd be a laugh!!

Surely it would need to be like a convention? I vote for Manchester, as it's easy to get to from all over, we could group book into hotel for cheaper rates and party all weekend! I would agree with this, but I'd actually like an excuse to go to London. Especially a month or so before Christmas. Which is when the PJ party will be. Oh yes, it will, it will, it will...

It's too bad we can't go, since Claire and I have spent today working on our karaoke rendition of Crazy In Love

Basically because I have one mate who lives in London and he comes up to Edinburgh in Christmas time, and I, being a true Scotsman, am loathe to actually spend money on a hotel. Also, even if he was around, he is a metal fan, so I don't think he'd be too appreciative if I dragged him along to dance to allSTARS. As we could all be psychos, i'm not sure that sharing houses would be a good idea, who knows the person who might seem so normal on-line, turns out to be the sort that decides to take their collection of blood stained axes down to a party in real life. (NOTE: I do not have a collection of blood-stained axes. Owing three does not make it a collection). The best idea would be to have the party run right through to the next morning so there is no need of sleep. But you're right, it would be ace!

yeah there should definly be one. basically the same sort of a party where PJ used to dj but this time for the whole night and pj could try and get all the pj-friendly popstars to attend and at least say hello .. although that probably means 6 months notice due to 'heavy schedules'
