sound of the underground was the bulging crysalis to no good advice's psychedelic buttterfly That's quite possibly the best comment ever! No Good Advice to win!! It's perfect. Rocky, poppy, psychedelic and the talky bit makes it a pop song of epic proportions.

There's a big difference between half a decade at #1 and a week or so bimbling around #2...
I personally don't think the public was being stupid this time - the same public who put Beyonce and the like at #1. I simply don't understand why so many of you have got this so very wrong...

in a first for a girls aloud thread i'm going to quote sid vicious.
and the automatic swear-replacer-technological-thingy will add a new level of meaning.
''i don't make music for the man in the street. the man in the street is a Stereophonics fan''
which explains beyonce at number one. however, i bloody love that song so disagree there.

Is it just me or did the new song "Life got Cold" rip off a few chords from Oasis' track "Wonderwall"? It sounds awfully similar.

It is too obvious if this wins, I know everyone loves it so much but if the competition is that predictable it's just going to be boring. Or maybe i'm being negative

I loved NGA when I first heard it.
But when I saw the tambourines and Nadines silver pvc dress promised myself an undying devotion to the song.

Or maybe i'm being negative thats exactly what i wanted to say but iwasnt brave enough to. from this lots opinions, it seems like its the only choice around. i have to say my mate katie, who hearts the likesof metallica and prince, loved this song, purely for the fantastic video effects.

Sounds of the Underground is just so much better than NGA, - I particularly hate the ending of the NGA where they do that bored sounding English "rapping" They should leave English rapping to Mis-Teeq
