but lowculture you missed: the fat black kid in Hang Time the blonde bimbo with huge knockers in Malibu Eric the stupid older brother in Boy Meets World. I used to fancy Eric rotten! But not when he had long hair.

I fancied him too, particularly in the college ones, where it was so blatantly implied that he was shagging Jack. Or did I just have a sordid mind?

Yeah, they did seem quite close, but Jack annoyed me, and that tall girl with the red hair that lived with them. I thought Topanga was a great name for a girl. And Corey got better looking as he got older. I never did see the attraction in his mate Shaun though.

I thought Topanga was a great name for a girl. And her sister was Nebula, or Nebbie for short.

Hello? California Dreams is by default the greatest of the teen sitcoms due to the fact that there was no annoying characters (apart from the vile sister who played the keyboard who got axed anyway). I used to love that 'Castles On Quicksand' song. The shame. The song would always tie into the episode like Fridays karaoke slot on Crossroads

Definitely Screech. WTF was his deal? And why didn't anyone ever realise that he was a complete waste of skin? Or did I miss that episode...
California dreams was class on a stick, especially that blonde who talked like she was chewing her face.

I used to love California Dreams and my favourite song of theirs was the one from the final episode were Jake got a solo record deal and the band went their seperate ways. It went a bit like this
There are places to go I haven't been yet Faces they tell me I still haven't met Some times in my life I will never forget I'll always remember you as the very best
I must admit I felt a bit emotional when Jake started crying whilst singing it. Oh well back to my mental home I suppose!!

Did anyone see the episode where Tiffani got addicted to steroids and went on a "roid rage" through the cafe?
Actually, American teen sitcom "drugs episodes" are always fantastic. Remember when Jessie got addicted to caffeine pills in Saved by the Bell?
ZACK: Jessie, give me the pills. JESSIE: I need them! I need them, Zack, I have to sing! ZACK: Jessie! You can't sing tonight! JESSIE: Yes I can! (Sings) I'm so excited I'm so excited I'm so (breaks down in tears) scared!
It doesn't get better than that.

I cried like a baby when the California Dreams split up; everytime I saw the episode.
I am the proud owner of California Dreams: The Album. Unfortunately it is the one with the irratating sister (Jenny) but is still fantastic.
The theme tune is a work of genius:
Surf dudes with attitude, Kinda groovy, Laid back moves, Sky above, sand below Good vibrations, Feeling mellow...

Remember when Jake got addicted to cigarettes in California Dreams? They had to detox him and he kept hitting Sly. Why don't they still show CD anymore?

I assumed it was some kind of odd order that C4 screened them in, but with hindsight that doesn't actually make any sense.
