Why oh why oh why oh why did these two guys have bit of a bitchfight and go their separate ways? They seemed to be right at the top of their success and then boom, off they go, leaving us to reside in Savage Garden-lite ala fauxmosexual Darren Hayes.
It's almost criminal his 'Crush:1980' single didn't do better with its eighties stylee Fame video. And who can forget the ultimate mis-heard lyric I want to live, like a cannibal in The Animal Song. Genius!
Damm that 'I don't want fame' Daniel!

Well their second album was doing extremely well, but for some reason they kept releasing single after single off of it, and the last few did not do too well.
So I suppose it did turn into the shits, kinda.

Affirmation is a brilliant album. They perhaps shouldn't have released six singles from it...maybe 4 would have been wiser. Then they could have done some new material...but they split up after that. Shame.

Savage Garden were ace, but probably do belong in here seeing as The Best Thing reached the dizzy heights of no.39. They should have carried on though; Darren Hayes has some good songs on his album but most of the ballads are shit.

Savage Garden are one of my favourite bands. I will never dump them and to me that is all that matters. Maybe they'll reunite soon...

The night I lost my virginity, I was seduced to Savage Garden. They will always be the soundtrack to me trembling with nervous excitement while someone presses the soles of his feet against mine.

Affirmation was a good song, but To the Moon and Back is the most fabbalicious song ever. In fact I'm going to listen to it now. Woo! PS. Insatiable was Darren's only good song unfortunately
