Let's get ready to...crumble. And the world is a poorer place. But when PJ and Duncan died, Ant and Dec were born! So, erm, yay. Kind of.

I used to buy everything they released ( the downfalls of being 11 years old with a £10 a week disposable income). From " Tonight I'm Free!" , the single released before "lets get ready to rumble!".
They had so may combacks in their pop career but I think it was best they stopped after Shout and their newly found Oasis direction cos it was shit.
Still love "Stepping Stone", "stuck on you" and "Our radio rocks" cos thats exactly what my stereo used to do when Peej and Deej were on ( thats what the cool kids used to call them).

I loved them soo much!
Eternal Love was the third single I ever bought. It was the first I actually meant to buy though...ie, paid money for it and actually finding that it was the one that I was wanting to buy.

What always impressed me was that despite the horrific paint ball incident PJ(?) managed to continue with the music Stevie Wonder style.
'Shout' rocked - it even had them strumming acoustic guitars.

i was going to dig out their albums and listen to them again, but confronted by my "CDs i don't listen to anymore" cupboard (current estimate: 400 cds) i really can't be arsed.
"better watch out" was aceful.

I bought (or was given) their first album on cassette way back when. It was pants, obviously, but they did manage to squeak out some gems along the way
"Let's Get Ready To Rumble" "If I Give You My Number (Will You Call?") "When I Fall In Love"
Too bad I gave away my Smash Hits Mix 97 cd in pure indie-kid disgust a few years ago. Looking back, it was actually rather good.

Our Radio Rocks was clearly the anthem we were all waiting for at the time, but who could forget Stepping Stone?
And why is Ant always on the left of the two as you look at them?

ahhhh. Apparently ant is always left of dec so you know immeditaly who is who, as they are always called Ant and Dec and never Dec and Ant, although that is pretty darn catchy!
Hope that makes sense!

And never Ant and Dick.
Anyhoo, Tonight I'm Free was good too. I liked all of there songs, I think. I liked it when they formed a group on Byker Grove, and Noddy and Frew were employed and the backing bouncers, who jumped around the stage.

on the cover of 'pschye' they wore tampa bay and canadiens hockey shirts, for some reason.
i shall never forgive the bad-geordie accented wags they inflicted on folk called duncan, mind.

At the end of We're On The Ball, I am sure they say "even though we're Smogs".
Which is concerning. Because if they are from Smoggyland, that means their accents must be fake.
