Ok so they ruined things by changing their style, record label and members for "No Surrender" but there debut album was brilliant! Anyway, anyone know what happened to all 6 (2 line-ups) of them? I know Lisa's job is going out with Ant but that's it - any ideas? Always though Paul would emerge are the credible artist but that never happened.

Deuce were a brilliant idea. Not sure if the whole album was brilliant. But that was the way with Tom Watkins acts.
Rumours and I Need You were great and they had a great image.
Shame they hit the skids so early on....
Craig's been in an episode of LA7 and Paul does back up vocals now. Lisa is fashion journo and Kelly, well, who knows.
Noticed that Kelly O'Keefe was doing styling for a People magazine photo shoot, but not sure if it was THE Kelly O'Keefe we all loved.

very good! not sure that there's too many ko'k's out there, but who knows! I really think they should've released "Let's Call It A Day", the planned 4th single off the album - was a Christmas single too, so might've done it quite well.
My favourite song of there's was On The Bible - a great pop tune and should've done better than it did. I remember buying the "Limited Edition Bible Format" single that was purple leather-bound type thing. Must fish that out ....

YUes i have that On The Bible track.
Always hated the remixes by Tom Watkins acts. They were always TOO dancey. I'd love to have heard a campy remix of I need You or Rumours or any of the tracks for that matter.

I just went to dig out my mighty Deuce collection and CAN'T FIND IT. However, I did my 2wo 3hirds collection. I quite liked them. Not as much as deuce, but I still thought they were pretty great.

If they released the truly inspired 'Call It Love' as their Eurovision number instead of the insipid 'I Need You', not only would they have won Eurovision, they would have had the best Eurovision song EVER - yes, even better than 'Waterloo', Gina G and 'Poupee de Cire, Poupee de Son' and pop justice would be done forever.

someone jog my memory - I know that I Need You didn't make it into the eurovision , but what song did that year? For some reason i keep thinking its Gina G but then can't believe that Gina G was out in 1995... ...any clues?

Wasn't it Love City Groove or summat with that "credible" R&B/rap track that went "baby, baby, baby, you drive me crazy/in the morning when the sun shines, etc"

Craig's been in an episode of LA7 and Paul does back up vocals now. Lisa is fashion journo and Kelly, well, who knows. Last I heard, Kelly was working in a video shop near where my friend's sister lives. Apparently she prefers that to being in Deuce anyway. I think I've mentioned that before, though. On the subject of Eurovision, does anyone else have the Song for Eurotrash CD? That has some top Euro cover versions on it. Kenickie singing Save Your Kisses For Me, Bananarama singing Waterloo and Dubstar singing Poupee de Cire, Poupee de Son.

ya thought they were a great concept and hated seeing them burning out - they were kinda indie-stroke-punk but were pop at the same time - had some great tunes and an excellent name.... like an indie-er version of deuce really!!

or an Indie Spice Girls, come out tonite was great and as for punka!! I loved that tune and I got the irony! The band stopped playing it as they thought nobody did. Duece were great, I remember on the bible becoming a sing-a-long song on a school trip to some museum or other. ace.

Yep, Kenickie were utterly underappreciated. Their version of Save Your Kisses For Me was superb. Lauren described it as "a scary song with an even scarier dance routine" (I assume she was referring to the original). Their version was relatively faithful, until the last line, when they sang/shouted: "Won't you save them for me, even though you're only THREE?!?!?!?!" and there was a huge bash of symbols and clang of geetar.
