so they opted for the lottery-winning opt-out.
improved by the off-with-danny segment [my own suggestion would have been off with alex. as i have said before]. but a nice ending. and she made up for her november the fith misdemeanour.
otherwise, a really poorly scripted episode, with awfully wooden dialogue.

I did feel emotional at the end though ... plus why couldn't she have won the jackpot, by the time she'd paid Lisa's mortgage how much had she really got left for herself?

if she won the jackpot, she'd be obliged to give them more, surely, terribly affecting her co-workers lives.
perhaps.

I reckon this storyline was frankly only accepted because it was her family that suggested it.
It's the same thing Eastenders did when the actor who played Big Ron died.
As storylines go it's quite a crap one.

what you talking about? i presumed it was sandy out of Big Brother or Sandy Shaw but shes dead i think Sandy Harper in Holby City. The actress who played her was Laura Sadler, the one who fell off the balcony after binging on vodka and cocaine. Tonight was the storyline where we discover how they'd written her out.

Yeah - but they probably had to throw it together quite quickly - and yes of course it had to be to her families liking. I thought it was a fitting tribute ...

Yes but it wasn't so much "to her families liking" as it was her family that came up with the idea.
As far as I'm aware none of her family are scriptwriters and it showed. But I doubt anyone wanted to say "Well no we're not doing it that idea is crap".
She was a fantastic actress and she deserved better.
