Did anyone else watch this last night?
I have to admit, I was slightly disappointed with it, given that the funniest sketch was "Daffyd Thomas, the only gay in the village", and I'd already seen that one. And it was a little bit League of Gentlemen in places, which isn't a bad thing, but they've kind of already sewn up that market.
However, there were flashes of brilliance:
- Vicky Powell's history report ("consisting almost entirely of "yeah, like, whatever, y'know?") - Marjorie Dawes' slimming club ("the scales are broken, so I'm going to guess your weight....17 stone.") - Jason, the boy who was obsessed with his friend's Grandma. - The "parliamentary aide in love with Prime Minister" sketch (and my campaign for Anthony Head to be the prime minister in real life starts here).
So, all in all, some bits worked better than others, but lots of laughs to be had. I give it two thumbs up!

I too was a little narked with it. 3 non-blondes afterwards was, annoyingly, funnier.
That being said, the slimming club is genius.. "I LOVVVVE DAT CAKE"
I hope we see that as a spin off at some point.
