Did they just blatantly nick the whole Simon Cowell/Prince William-the-popstar idea from PJ, or were you implicated in pp32-33 of this weeks "magazine of the year"?

A lot of journos read popjustice factJournos can't resist stealing such stories, it saves them work. It's not stealing as such, anyway, as he just said in an interview ages ago he'd like to turn wills into a popstar. They've added the revelant angle (i.e. Wills is 21 so now it's appropriate and topical to run it) Did they just blatantly nick the whole Simon Cowell/Prince William-the-popstar idea from PJ, or were you implicated in pp32-33 of this weeks "magazine of the year"?

It looks like Heat took the idea from what we wrote - if they'd had the idea themselves, then they would have run it during the week of William's 21st, not a fortnight later.
But that's how journalism works, innit.

This site gets pieces nicked and used by a big-selling showbiz magazine.
The Other Site has their bits nicked by the 3am girls & other tabloids and usually ends up in the Wicked Whispers section or such, mainly due to being less likely to be true.
Not that not being true is a problem for me.
