It would be so fun, and there's enough of us on the messageboard at any one time to make it worthwhile.
I bet it would also cut down on threads going wildly off-topic because we'd have somewhere to talk popshit to our hearts content.
Also, we would be able to say all the naughty libellous things we can't on the board, because it wouldn't be glued to the internet for anyone to see!

I'm not so sure about this idea. I'm concerned that it would make me easy prey for online paedophiles.
Also, I just hate internet chatrooms. Generally.

;D Yeah, if it were to happen then I think if there was a log-in system like the messageboard it would control who was in there pretty well.

im always in 2 minds about chat rooms. if they are designed properly they can be really cool, and if used properly again they can be really cool. but i do love the message board, cos people actually have time to put thought into what they write and it never gets flooded, and that kind of thing. saying that, i think MusicFan's(sorry i dont know your name!) idea is brilliant, because it would stop any timewasters from harassing and abusing the board!

the allSTARS website had the bestest ever chat room. You had to log in to use it, and it was adminstrated by about 5 admins who blocked people the minute they started being fools. It was also laid out really well as it was like a message board in which you could create different threads, but the talking was more like a chatroom as it was quick and all that. But if we did get one, we'd have to find a way of stopping scary people coming in.
