One of the last great pieces of thunderclap pop that was produced. "My oldest Motown records, my Abba hits CDs".
Nearly as good, of course, as the oft-quoted "I Am Gothic" by Spray. Hoho.

All I know is that my campaign to make Take It From Me by Aussie girl band Girlfriend single of the day starts RIGHT HERE! Alyson "I'll be good to you baby... take it from me I won't break your heart..." They were a one hit wonder if ever I saw one They were rubbish! I keep meaning to put a thread about them on the dumper but it always escapes my mind - I wonder why?!

Hey, they may be rubbish, but they were OUR rubbish! It's the patriot in me!
Take It From Me was ace!
The funniest thing is, to this day, Siobhann from the band works in a shoe shop. She isn't even the manager, but she can recommend a fine pair of stilettos...

I undersatnd that mr Kane is actually Barry Stone, aka Jewels & STONE..... That's right, he's one part of Jewels & Stone. He also co-produced Dead Or Alive's NUKLEOPATRA album. This single is fabulous, pity it did so badly, even after being re-released twice (I believe)!!!!It did get released outside the UK, but in Holland for instance it only got released on 2 track cd single ( and there's supposed to be a 12"also) No need to search for the remixes as they arent as good as the single mix and the extended.Belverdere Kane did one single after this one but only on Promo 12". He also recordede a whole album but before it was released he choose to work behind the screens instead of being in the spotlight. I heard some of the tracks and It would have been a Fantastic Campy album. He's had numerous #1's (being with writers credit, remix, or producer wise)
