A corker, which was never the same on CD without the "Hey girls!" bit she always did live.
And I believe the current record holder for most performances of the same song on TOTP.

Spookily, this was also gonna be Alysons Single Of The Day! But then, no-one liked my attempt to write a song, so you know, swings and roundabouts! Alyson

that was my favourite bit too! that, and the hilarious pieced of eight dress. she performed her little ass off on the nite.. unforch, she can't really sing ...as we saw with Jessica last year, not even a wicked voice can win it for you. the G rules tho. her murdering of Don't Leave Me This Way ruled!

The performer can be from anywhere, Celine Dion entered once, I think, and she isn't European.

The best eurovision entry by us brits ever, Ms. G flew the flag with her skimpy dress and warbly pitches, but who cared, especially when she shouted "Hey Girls!!".

We love Ozzies as long as they're not Paul Hogan.
Gina G was fantastic, This song is a work of genius, and it is a great pop injustice that it never won Eurovision, what was not to like about it? She's a goddess, and, had I actually bothered to watch more than one episode of Reborn in the USA, I would claim that she deserved to win that as well.

Pure genius--I still pop the single in the CD player on a very regular basis.

How come she was allowed to enter? Being an aussie and all... The performer doesn't have to be British - the composer does. That's why we were able to have Katrina & The Waves/Olivia Newton-John etc representing us.
