Some girl butchered this on Stars in Their Eyes Kids. How dare she. Apparently Cher has to have the high notes digitally inserted since she can't open her mouth wide enough to reach them, due to her copious plastic surgery.

The digital notes are great:
It's so sa-diddly-ad that you're leavin' It takes ti-diddly-ime to believe it
It's just like Ned Flanders!

Cher might want to get a bit of extra money on the side, sure her plastic surgery efforts are becoming more detailed and expensive by the day!

The Queen Mother of Pop rarely let's you down and this track is a belter. Much prefer the follow up single 'All or Nothing' though.

this song reminds me of when i came out the closet to all my friends.
I think the follow up was 'strong enough'
i love cher she is my ultimate icon.

Same as my 911/Spacedust post but best thing about this track was that until the last week of 1998 the best selling single of the year was Celine Dion.
Fortuanately since Cher was still selling she overtook at the last minute like a plastically enhanced & Botoxed racehorse.

Wasn't there some story about how the diddly bits were originally created by a slip of the producers hand, but then he liked the effect so much he suggested they keep it in? Maybe i dreamt that
