Some people snorted, laughed and guffawed when I bleached my hair a few months back. But I have the power of trend starting.
One of the guys in my office who made all sorts of "ooh, blondie" comments when I bleached my hair came in this morning with his own hair bleached.
I thank yew.

you cut your own hair?
even with the simple haircut i have, i go to my barber.
i didn't get my haircut for three years [yes, it was horrible] so perhaps i am just making up for lost time, and granted, i could do it myself for cheaper but i like going down the end of the road.
what drives you in you [seemingly] barber-less lifestyle then?

Nope, little loose bits of hair that I forgot to rinse out. Grrr. If I keep this up for a year, I'll save £144!

Getting the urge to leave work early, pop up to manchester and stroke the back of your hair like a little kitten. Don't purr though - I'm easily alarmed!

I rather like getting my hair cut. I go to Hair By Fairy in Covent Garden, they do a unisex wash and cut for £10.50, which is pretty cheap for London. The only problem being that a lot of the stylists don't speak very good English, so whether you get the haircut you want is often just the luck of the draw.

Don't purr though - I'm easily alarmed! I hardly look 'laddish'. Well, I dunno... Look at my gaydar profile and see what you think (hair's just like it is now. In fact, I'm wearing almost exactly the same clothes! Has there ever been a better time to pretend I'm really in front of you all?)
