In fact, the words that were used were 'cold and distant'. Constructive criticism, so I was told.

The ones that call you aloof/ cold and distant are usually the ones that are trying to get you into bed and are met with rejection. Take no notice. If you've got to sail your ship alone for the time being so be it. Just make sure you drop anchor in some pretty harbours every now and again
