A whole new species of man.
Apparently, straight men who live in the city, are sensitive, and care about fashion and grooming as much as they care about football and fast cars, are now termed "metrosexuals". David Beckham is a metrosexual icon.
It's quite a nice idea. Shame they had to name it after a godawful television programme.

I've believed for a while that in about 50 or 60 years, most straight men will be live at home doing the housework and raising kids.
Men are becoming the new women. It's happening slowly, but it's happening

God that sounds awful! I like men who are a bit interesting and rough and tasty and play football and cards! And smack their teammates for rooting their sister! And aren't gonna cry!
Like Ben!

that bloke [polite substitute for tramp] who lives at the bottom of the arndale is a metrosexual?
he lives slap bang in the middle of the city. is crazy and unhinged. euphamistically, thats sensitive. dosen't give a flying fuck about his appearance, but neither does he give a tinkers cuss about football or cars.
granted thats lame. but not as bad as the aforementrioned programme. which i watched each and every one of. stupid alderman.

Does this mean 50 years from now, I'll be, like, 75, surrounded by women watching West Coast Eagles play, and the men will be at home!
Men MUST like football!

It's just occured to me that this is a bad idea. If straight men become sensitive, well-dressed and well-groomed, what purpose is there for the gayers? Worried Panda

It's just occured to me that this is a bad idea. If straight men become sensitive, well-dressed and well-groomed, what purpose is there for the gayers? Worried Panda Well women tend to hang around with gayers and comment on their hair/clothes/dancing/etc. so straight guys think "I shall be like a gayer to pull women" So straights be more like gayers to make women like them. Depending on whether women are hoodwinked by this ploy or not, either my future prediction will come true or men will get pissed off at the fact that women tend to be able to seperate between male friends and males they'd like to shag. We live in a proper fucked up world And Alyson, you could well be surrounded by women watching the footy. It could become the female equivalent of men watching womens tennis/beach volleyball/foxy boxing.

So does this mean I have to act like a hettie in order to get men?

So does this mean I have to act like a hettie in order to get men? I was thinking you might have to be a 'bit interesting and rough and tasty and play football and cards! And smack their teammates for rooting their sister! And aren't gonna cry!'I dunno. I've confused myself with my own theory on this thread. I'm going for some dinner and some Peter Kay. By the time I come back, I'll either have totally forgotten about this or have sussed things out.
