First of all, I would like to say: I'm really sorry to have started a thread about ringtones.
But I've got a polyphonic phone now, and I was trying to find a nice, non-irritating one which, in my anal way, would be something that I genuinely love.
It's proving harder than I thought. There's not many polyphonic ones, are there? Or am I looking in the wrong place?
Curiously, the polyphonic ringtone of 'Die Another Day' by Madonna sounds exactly like 'Die Another Day' by Madonna. I mean, exactly like it. Just without the vocals.
And I just heard the 'MacGyver' ringtone. I haven't seen that program for years. I forgot how fantastic the theme tune was!
And, as much as I HATE myself for asking this:
Wha..... oh, it's no good, I just can't do it. Sorry.

My hated colleague David has Diamonds Are Forever, it is a dreadful thing. Natalie has Roobarb And Custard theme, which is marginally better. Get Jumpin Jumpin or something, all Destiny's Child ones work perfectly.

I just have a normal ring ring on mine.
I changed it a few months ago after having Eve's Who's that girl as a ringtone for over a year.

It's true, Destiny's Child songs often work very well as ringtones. The intro to Survivor sounds ace, even on a monotone phone.
I currently have the theme from Buffy on mine. It bears very little resemblance to the real thing, but I used to keep it on purely because my (now ex) boyfriend hated it. And thus a habit formed.

i find ringtones greatly annoying Me three. But I feel I should make the most of all my lovely new phone has to offer. It's on silent alert most of the time, anyway.

mine is usually on silent, but when it rings it has the intro to cherry lips (go, baby! go!) by garbage. is very effective.

I have the Sex and the City theme... but I don't notice my phone ringing because it's just a cute little tune. Polyphonic tunes can be quite good; they can also be SO offensive...
