i've heard this before - something to with dyselxia: about how the words are seen if you have dyslexia, about shape recognition or something. quite like oxbridge to say something old in a different way and call it new, too....

This study has totally screwed up complaints against text speakers since they'll just say that because the first and last letters are there you should still be able to read it.
Poor spelling is still a method of amusement on the board though.

I already knew this, but I think our generation have their priorities completely wrong. Text speak and gibberish are no decent compensation for loss of the english language.

Also, I beg to differ with the idea. Had the first letter of each word been moved, it wouldn't be so easy to understand what the word was supposed to say.
