Can anyone help me or shall I just take this away??

I'm starting a new site. I need help in three areas (purlease):

1. Domains - wheres the best place to get a .com domain? How much should I expect to pay? I have webspace but would I be better getting a proper full hosting type thing?

2. FTP - any decent free FTP programs out there? I have Fetch but its a trial and takes years now.

3. Forms/comments - how can I do these without being a blog... I've tried the simple html commands but they wont work, saying I cant relay mail to any servers. All the sites that offer services seem to be for bloggers only. Hmmm?

1. i buy my domains from ukreg.com. it's something like £9+vat for a .com or £2.50+vat for a .co.uk. this doesn't include hosting.

2. there's loadsa free ftp software out there. i like ftp explorer.
