As I've said before, I think Speechless wasn't all that bad. So I'll probably be the only one sticking up for them here! " Baby, here's the proof...": 1. The Almighty mix is the best thing sinced "whole & white" bread, especially the electric-y lightning static noises every time they say "static". But then I love silly noises in my songs. 2. I'm certainly not a massive fan, I don't even know any of their names. But one of them is quite unugly: 3. They sound like a1, which is by no means a bad thing. Except it makes me miss a1. 4. For some reason, I really love the lyric "Baby, here's the proof". 5. A lot of people are only slagging them off because they're not as good as Triple 8. I disagree, but everyone's entitled to their opinion. However, just because someone might think Triple 8 are good doesn't mean D-Side are naff by default. I love my mum, but it doesn't mean my dad is rubbish. Having said these things, I haven't heard their new single and it will probably be grandma's pants.

Yeah speechless was a nice song
most are really fit. especially the guy with the dark hair and serious face
they're better than OTV anyway. Probably on a par with fellow Irish boyband OTT. And they weren't that bad.
Plus..........THEY'RE IRISH........hooray

Her very worst pair, with the faded floral pattern. I retract any comparisons I made with the mighty and much-missed a1. I have never been more wrong in my life. OK... I would still do pretty jumper boy though. However I've gone totally off massive forehead bushy eyebrows boy... I saw him (ahem) "dancing" on TOTP and my goodness I have no idea what he was doing. Now I may dance like a complete twod (and proudly so), but this guy...!

Just for the record, as Geri Halliwell might say, my dislike of D-Side is not based on comparisons with Triple Eight, more that they are another example of the law of diminishing returns in Irish boybands:
Here's my lovely chart:
Boyzone >>>>> Westlife >>>>>>>> D-Side
Derivative >>>>> More derivative >>>>> Insanely derivative Unimaginative >> Very unimaginative >>> No trace of imagination whatsoever Quite ugly >>>>> Very ugly >>>>>>>>>> Nurse, the screens!
