Due to my friend being evil having forgotten about lending it it's been a whole year since i've had this spinning in my player.
It's so easy to forget how ace something is.
Beck doing Diamond Dogs!
Nature Boy, David Bowie & Massive Attack!
That Hindi Sad Diamonds song that uses Chamma Chamma!
That tango that uses Roxanne!!
Because We Can Can Can (Or: The best thing Fatboy Slim ever did, apart from all his other good things)
Admittedly this is a tad self indulgent, so... *puts on cheesy Local Radio DJ voice*
What are your forgetten gems?
(I'm not sure if this type of thread fits in with this new Komrade Popjustice thing. So consider this testing the water)

I *heart* the Roxanne Tango. It's so deep and has (not very) hidden meanings. Sad Diamonds is a masterpiece too and Ewan McGregor is hot.

I lent my Moulin Rouge to my brother who took it to uni with him and lost it. It did however give me an excuse to buy it again when it was re-released with the second disk and if I hadn't I never would of discovered the greatness that is Meet Me in the Red Room which would have meant I might not of found out about the mighty Amiel.
Forgotton gems, Emmie - More Than This, Catatonia - Karaoke Queen.

I *heart* the Roxanne Tango. It's so deep and has (not very) hidden meanings. Sad Diamonds is a masterpiece too and Ewan McGregor is hot. And it's loud too. I love that it's so powerful. Like BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOm. You know. Sort of. yes. Hinidi Sad Diamonds may in fact be the greatest song of all time. And yes. Ewan is obscenely hot.

I always really liked their songs but never really paid much attention to them until Karaoke Queen helped me discover their aceness. I thought that was going to have a bad ending then. But it didnt. You were saved. It's not one of my ultra favourites but I do love it. Especially "The stage gives way, it's an apostrophe to my legacy"

It's not one of my ultra favourites but I do love it. It's not my favourite either but it's song that made me really discover Catatona. Something about it just struck a chord and made me sit up and take notice.

my forgotten gem is #1 crush by garbage. it isn't on either of the albums i have, but i think it's in romeo and juliet. i really like it whenever i hear it out. its passionate and dramatic but in a good way! and shirley manson is supercool (or at least, she used to be)

She shouldn't have cut her hair. mmm i think modelling cK and hanging out with gwen stefani were also mistakes. she started wanting to be a popstar instead of a rockstar. i hope the next garbage album doesn't suck like beautifulgarbage did. they used to be so good it hurt

I love Moulin Rouge! I love the music, the costumes and how it is so extravagant (I think that's the word I mean). Plus it has Ewan McGregor and his lovely eyes Jessica

Aaah the memories of the lovely Come what may...
My recently re-discovered forgotten gem was Shampoo and their Girl Power album.
Oh.. and do Eurovision compilations count? No? Ok then.

Andreas Johnson - Glorious.
No, seriously, come back. This is extremely ace and soars so magnificently into the chorus. Trust me.
