Well who loves it? It seems like the kind of thing a lot of people here would enjoy.
Personally I thought it was great up until the end of the 4th series - Moon River in the last episode of that series upset me *so* much.
However, the 5th just seemed to pass me by, and in the current one, it seems like it's just going to fizzle out without the big ending I was expecting (ie. Carrie and Big get married).
Your thoughts please!

I know where you're coming from. It is horribly unrealistic and shallow, but I need something just like that sometimes.

I loved catching odd repeats of this, the last season was the first i'd watched properly and I found it patchy.
This one is feeling a bit samey, sadly.

Really, really hate it.
Especially Kim Cattrall.
I'm so pleased to see I'm not alone.

That is so very true, it's second only to Smallville in terms of lazy writing.

a perfect summary of the script, to be repeated ad nauseum. [so that'll be twice then].
carrie's one column also seems to soly consist of rheterical questions.
how much would i like to eke out a journalistic career in such a fashion?

carrie's one column also seems to soly consist of rheterical questions. To be fair, I write entire essays like that (but not about sex, usually). Of course, I'm not getting paid for it. Stupid bint.

i dont think theres anything wrong with sex and the city
the earlier episodes are good
but the new ones are really boring and samey.
The characters are stereotyped but then so are characters from alot of other programmes. Especially will and grace

I only started watching Sex and the City this series and while i don't hate it, I certainly don't heart it either. It's just dull.

i love it. i have the first four series on dvd, but the next two also seem to have slipped passed me. i will buy them on dvd (well, have them bought for me) but i can't have been that bothered or i would've made the effort to watch them. i do adore carrie though.
the most annoying thing about the show is that when my girlfriends are drunk they always start arguing about who is most like each character. every bloody time.

I love Sex and the City - mainly because it's about fashio and shopping, and and Samantha provides the perfect template for how I really really don't want to be at all like when I'm 40!
