Yes, i read this in another website, she's behind Bird Eyes Prod for 5,500 copies - what a shame! So Solid Crew climb at number 9, Justin 'Senorita' passed XTina holding number 14 Chemical Brothers are 17, Placebo are 19, Mary J. Blige are 20, Rancid 32 and Jack is new at 33

Am I right in thinking that a margin of just over 5,000 is actually honourable for Rachel, considering that BEP had been selling over 90,000 two weeks straight?

Sort of. But it is their third week... And there was alot of hype surrounding Rachel. Number two isn't terrible though. It's actually a proper achievement, and I think Rachel will be more than happy with it.

I think as long as she charts above Westlife most people on the board are going to be happy.

Still looking for a new sig, my new one of Miss World appears not to be working and if I use imagestation the address becomes too long for me to fit the comment in.

Where are Westlife at the momento? It's all a bit of a sham this single. They have been saying that this is their best single so far (which I dont think is true at all. I quite liked some of their earlier stuff in as much as it is good cheesy boyband ballads), but it does have all the right components for a classically Westlifesque song. The only thing that I can see has changed is that they have put on weight and are allowed to say crap now. They have a fucking key change for gods sake. I am not entirely against key changes but I would have thought that would be one thing they are steering clear of. Well done to Rachel though. Good song, good position.

I don't know why Westlife fans are so upset - after all, regarding past chart positions, they've had worse.

I don't know why Westlife fans are so upset - after all, regarding past chart positions, they've had worse. they've only had one worse..."Bop Bop Booby" but this is the lead single from a new album, and they're never launched an album without first having a number 1 single from it. Having said that, the sales of "HEYWHATEVER" are respectible, and many of their previous number 1's sold very, very poorly, but were released in weeks that were dead of possible competition for number 1. So sales wise, they've not done too badly, but PR wise, it's a disaster. I guess the real test will be when the album arrives.

I won't be happy if the Black Eyed Peas keep Rach of top spot, it was bad enough that it got to 1 at all, but for 3 weeks is just piss poor

Great news! I hope the black eyed peas can become the first act since god knows when, prob the 90s, to do 5 weeks at number 1
