Yes, stars can be taken away. Jen, don't feel victimised. You're only ten good posts away from a star. PJ x Firstly - that made me chuckle - sorry Jen! Secondly - how often will we have our posts vetted? Define 'good post' if you please. I'm not going to get drawn into some desperate attempt to gain a star. I think this is possibly a slightly less good system than the post-count because it will make people bitter. Not that I'm bitter, of course

I think this is possibly a slightly less good system than the post-count because it will make people bitter posts are vetted whenever i'm looking at the board, i suppose. it probably will make people bitter, yes. sorry. it might have been a mistake, but people i think are ace have stopped posting on the board or even visiting it at all, simply because of the amount of rubbish people are posting. in reality, if you're not prepared to post decent messages on the popjustice messageboard you should never have been posting in the first place. Ahoy there, PJ!
Is it only people with the star that can see the special board? Or even read the messages? What will the discussion topic be?
Tally ho! Nye x

Hello Nye
It's just people with stars who can even see it at the moment.
The discussion topic will be how rubbish Maria Willson is. (Only joking.)

Mr PJ, thank you for the board. The only problem is there doesn't seem to be a theme for the board, such as "pop and justice", "lowculture", "life" and the like, which is probably why there's not a whole lot of posting going on in there. We don't know what to talk about, apart from waheywehavestarsletsallrejoice.

I don't know what we're all going to talk about, either.
Hang on - I've got an idea.
Meet me in the special area!

PJ x this may sound quite stupid... but could you give me an example of a great post? i know i need to stop posting randomly and arguing but i dont really know if something im posting is what you would class as good.

Yes - what constitutes a great post? Or are we deliberately not being told so we have to find out for ourselves?

PJ x this is very unfair.... like waving chocolate in front of a fat child... especially as there was a techincal hitch and i was able to see the special board, read the topic and reply before it being snatched away from me.

Sorry Jen - I just thought it was a particularly witty comment; it was not an indicator that I think any less of you. After all, I'm obviously not cutting the mustard either and have to search really deep in my soul for the reasons. Still haven't found them. Maybe I'm just too enthusiastic about popjustice; maybe it's cos I like Lisa Scott-Lee; maybe I use too many semi-colons...
