Hello Nye It's just people with stars who can even see it at the moment. The discussion topic will be how rubbish Maria Willson is. (Only joking.) PJ x So you do take notice of any other discussion on the messageboard! Ahoy!

I'm just baffled - until I started whinging making constructive comments I didn't think there was anything wrong with my posts. In view of all the enthusiasm I put into the PJNW meet last night I've been knocked for six. Anyway - I'm shutting up now before I get booted for insolence or some equally subjective made-up rule...

Good posts? Difficult to say, really. Off the top of my head, I liked popjustice.proboards17.com/index.cgi?board=popjustice&action=display&thread=1063923508 because it was informing us of a news story but wasn't just copying the news story from somewhere else and Stevie put a funny spin on it (ie how can Louis tell Girls Aloud to lose weight when he's got Westlife on his books). The Siobhan thread ( popjustice.proboards17.com/index.cgi?board=popjustice&action=display&thread=1063724844) was really good, too - Ste, MrSleaze, Jen, Panda, Milk Monitor... Actually, looking through it, almost everyone had something interesting to say, and said it really well. I think Nye storming in and swearing at everyone with what some might term a cavalier disregard for puncutation was a bit unnecessary, but you can't have everything. If you've ever seen the Popjustice.com homepage, that should give you some idea of what posts should be like. PJ x

Well PJ did say it was going to take a while to give out the stars. There are a hell of a lot of members! Which is why I haven't stormed out in a huff yet slamming my trailer door before crying all over my Pekingese. Although I'm very close to it. Anyway, I did say I'd shut up - I haven't made a GODD POST for at least the last 6...

If you've ever seen the Popjustice.com homepage, that should give you some idea of what posts should be like. So does that mean we can steal the posts from Popjustice.com? J/K

As well as the new special section, I'm appointed a load of new moderators.
Lots of posts will be deleted by these moderators. Hopefully, over time, people will realise why some posts are being deleted and others are being kept on the board.
Cheers

well obviously my lack of special stars is just an administrative oversight or something i think this system might just work as it gives people something to strive for that is more difficult to achieve than just posting as much as possible. however (and its a big however) this really isn't fair! the idea that people who post "in the spirit of the board" should be rewarded is a sound one but it is not right that "the spirit of the board" should be dictated by one person. surely the chaos and arguments are what makes popjustice fun. i enjoy them, and there is still plenty of healthy discussion and useful pop knowledge exchanged. i'm sorry if other people don't like what the board has evolved into (and evolved is the correct word - it hasn't "gone to shit" or "got worse" its just changed) but that's really their problem. this may just be bitter ranting because i don't have a star, but even if i did i still think that the board should be a total democracy. that's why i was happy when the ranks were abolished. the idea of a secret board is elitist and totally unfair to people who are enthusiastic and post a lot but aren't posting the "right" things according to someone else's tastes. finally i understand that ultimately this is the popjustice board, and its your prerogative to decide how it should be run, but i think it is a shame that you have decided to create a secret society where you and your "favourites" (and that's what it seems like) can hide from the rest of use plebs. why should people like me who have been members for a long time and who post a lot because they care be punished (once again, it seems like a strong word but its the one that sums up what this secret forum represents to me) because our posts aren't always witty or self conscious attempts to impress others. i am always honest in my posting and if that means i am not "in the spirit" of popjustice then i guess i just don't understand popjustice after all, and don't desperately want to. i know this will just look like i am complaining but i really am a bit saddened by this latest developement. hope i'm not the only one who feels this way and that the people with stars won't start ignoring us lesser posters!

I kind of agree with Will, but theres over 1000 memebers on here, and unless people nominate each other people for stars, Mr.Popjustice isn't going to be able to read every post everyone ever makes.
